Every day we get reports back from our students, here's one from yesterday that we all really enjoyed seeing. It's from a student from an ESL hospitality program, she was placed in a short-term 4 week internship (actually, in this case, practicum) at the Holiday Inn: Host Company Name
Holiday Inn Express
What was the most interesting part of your internship?
Every day and every moment of my internship was interesting and amazing. The whole internship was fantastic and I really enjoyed it.
What was the most difficult part of your internship?
I feel Iam lucky I had the best supervisor, the best team to work with makes my internship easy for me.
How did the Canadian workplace differ from your country?
Totally different, in my country [Saudi Arabia] there is double stander rules, for example the males always have the priority for the job and always there is more job for males than females. But in canada I saw that the priority is for the person who had the best skills not what is the gender.
Please describe your relationship with your co-workers.
I had good relationship with my co-workers, the girls were very nice to me and kind.
Describe your internship placement services.
Is there anything we should improve?
no every thing is good and perfect.
Would you recommend your host company to future students? Why or why not?
Yes, because it's good place and nice to work there especially if you were doing internship unpaid, it's perfect place not big or very crowded, and you are going to love it there.
Is there anything else you'd like to tell us?
I just want to say thank you so much for evrey thing and I hope see you again for another internship in future.
