Work with a brand manager at a marketing house - promoting products for different Canadian companies and products. Learn about outsourced marketing, and different marketing methods with an internship at a Canadian firm. With a marketing company, you'll do a mix of work. If your English skills are very advanced, you could find yourself making marketing calls and writing copy. But even at an intermediate English level you will sit in on marketing meetings, client consultations, and you will have the opportunity to assist with research and even events like trade shows. As with many office internships, your day will be split between industry specific work, and general office duties such as reception work and filing. The minimum time for this internship is 4 weeks, but you can work as long as 6 months. To be placed in this internship as a student, you need to be involved in a school program that requires an internship placement. There is a fee for placement into one of these internships. This fee includes resume preparation, interview practice, visa assistance, and on-going monitoring. If you are interested in applying - please click here and complete the form.
