Industrial and product engineering is crazy interesting. It's self-evident that everything around us is designed, from the keyboard keys I'm typing on, to the castors in the chair I'm sitting on - not to mention the buttons on my shirt, the cable connector on the laptop, the etc. etc. etc. So many thousands of little details - all painstakingly created and designed on computer and then put out into the world. It's just absolutely fascinating. I don't know why every second male on film is an architect, when there's a far cooler job like product engineer around. That could sound sarcastic, but it is seriously not.
Here's a video we've put together of a longer chat we had with the head of a product engineering firm which was hosting an internship student at the time.
