Events planners work in a combination of sales and logistics. They work at events planning, or conference planning firms, and participate in the organization of conferences, or corporate events. Events planners work as a member of both the logistics and the sales/marketing teams. They liase with suppliers, venue organizers, and participate during the event itself. This practicum is ideal for marketing and communications majors, or students in college-level events organizing programs.
