Hotel practicums (known outside of British Columbia as internships) are designed for students from hospitality programs. Front and back office placements are available as are 'rotating placements'. In a rotating placement you will circulate throughout a hotel, experiencing several different departments throughout your stay. In a front office placement, you will be at the front desk, greeting new guests, processing check ins and check outs, and handling questions. In the back office you will get hands on experience with management, including finance and hr duties.
