AccuRounds is an established precision machining firm based in Avon, Massachusetts with more than 50 employees. Here is how they describe themselves:

The tour will take place at 3:00pm on Friday the 18th of September. The tour will be conducted by Diane Ferrera, the head of Human Resources at AccuRounds.
She will take the students for a tour of the company, and then for a question and answer session. The tour will conclude at about 4:00pm.
Accurounds is located at 74 Bodwell Street in Avon. This location is accessible on public transport, with the trip taking about 1 hour from LSI Boston. The factory is about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop. Click here to see travel instructions.
The host company is expecting a small group of up to 5 students, as well as an instructor/guide from LSI. Experience Education will remind the host about the tour a day in advance.
Starting at LSI, walk to South Station. At South Station take the MBTA train on the purple Middleborough/Lakeville Line. The host company is near Holbrook/Randolph Station (that is 3 zones from South Station).
As you exit the station, take a taxi. These are waiting at the front of the station. The ride to the host will cost about $10 and take 7-10 minutes.
Returning from the Host Company
Students may choose their own way home from the host company. However we encourage them to walk to the corner of West Main Street and East Main Street (map above) and take the 240 bus from there. The 240 will take them to a red line subway station.
